The Schema Inventory Online Interpretive Reporter is a clinical assessment platform built for psychologists and their clients who are engaged in Schema Therapy. It hosts a suite of validated psychometric instruments, including the Young Schema Questionnaire (YSQ-S3, YSQ-L3, and YSQ-R), the Schema Mode Inventory (SMI), the Young Positive Schema Questionnaire (YPS-Q), and the Couples Schema Inventory (CSI). Each questionnaire is completed online by the client and automatically scored, producing a detailed interpretive report that integrates the client's presenting problem, schema and mode profiles, and relevant clinical context.
The platform is designed for registered psychologists and mental health professionals who use Schema Therapy in their clinical practice. Clients complete assessments that have been set up and assigned by their treating psychologist, and the generated reports are securely delivered back to the clinician for use in formulation, treatment planning, and therapeutic feedback. Reports are produced using Advanced Schema Analysis, integrating questionnaire scores with clinical notes to produce individualised, formulation-ready narratives. The system also synchronises completed reports to each psychologist's own Google Drive folder for secure long-term storage.
The platform is developed and maintained by the Team in Perth, Western Australia. The underlying instruments are based on the work of Jeffrey Young and colleagues, with revisions drawn from the peer-reviewed literature. The platform is continually refined in collaboration with practising clinicians to ensure the generated reports are clinically accurate, evidence-based, and genuinely useful in the therapy room.
